       Detailed Itinerary

Day 0

      Welcome to Denver.
Our representative will transfer you to your hotel. After a welcome dinner with the group, there will be a short briefing about your upcoming expedition.

Day 1

After renting our motorcycles we will start heading west, and within half an hour will be climbing into the Rocky Mountains. The winding Peak to Peak Highway will take us on a scenic ride to the mountain haven of Estes Park. From here, we enter Rocky Mountain National Park, explore our first dirt section, and cross over Trail Ridge Road. After a long descent, we will end up on the valley floor on the west side of the Continental Divide. We will spend the first night at YMCA's Snow Mountain Ranch.

Day 2

Today we will spend most of the day following the Colorado River on dirt roads all the way to Glenwood Canyon. Our final destination for the day will be the town of Paonia, famous for its wineries and organic farms.

Day 3

Our first dirt section awaits us at Grand Mesa on the Western Slope. We will follow Unaweep Canyon and the Dolores River to Paradox Valley. This evening we will stay in the ski town of Telluride.

Day 4

Today we will pass through the San Juan Mountains and visit Mesa Verde National Park, the site of Colorado's famous ancient cliff dwellings. In the afternoon, we will ride the breathtaking Million Dollar Highway through Silverton all the way to the spa town of Ouray.

Day 5

Today is a rest day in Ouray. Spend your time exploring this historic town or soaking in a hot springs.

Day 6

We will ride over Owl Creek Pass, a dirt road that takes us to the Gunnison valley. From here we take another dirt road over Marshall Pass and spend the night at Cottonwood Hot Springs in Buena Vista, Colorado.

Day 7

On day 7, we will follow the Arkansas River to Canon City, where we take a detour through the dramatic Phantom Canyon to Cripple Creek, a mining town that is now a popular gambling destination. From Cripple Creek, we will take Rampart Range Road to Evergreen, our final destination for the day.

Day 8

Today, we discover the highest paved road in North America, the Mount Evans Scenic Byway, which terminates at the summit of Mt. Evans at 14,300 feet. After this adventure, we will take a dirt road known as the Oh My God Road to Central City, a historic mountain mining and casino town. Our last canyon will be Golden Gate Canyon, a scenic descent down to Denver.
